Robert Mugabe Dies At 93, in Singapore

Harare–He died while on re-admission at the hospital on Wednesday Morning.

According to the report released by Zimbabwe’s government spokesman, the 93 year old was on Saturday discharged as a strong man but the problem triggered while attending Ghana’s independence day on Monday which took his life on arrival to hospital in Singapore.

Mugabe, who turned 93 last month, flew to Singapore on last week for what his spokesman called a “scheduled medical review” but discharged four days after.

The state ZBC broadcaster is reporting that Mugabe died from ‘old-age.’

The president, was accompanied by his daughter Bona, was said to have chatted with his two vice presidents, and army service chiefs who broke the sad news.

Mugabe was Zimbabwean revolutionary and politician who governed the Republic of Zimbabwe as its President since 1987, having previously governed as its Prime Minister from 1980 to 1987. Ideologically an African nationalist and socialist, he has led the Zimbabwe African National Union – Patriotic Front (ZANU–PF) party since 1975.
