Cristiano Ronaldo has dressed his family in Juventus kits as they settle to life in Turin. The Portuguese superstar captioned the heartwarming picture “The Bianconera family” – in tribute to Juventus’ nickname.
Ronaldo, who spent nine years in Real Madrid, made his debut in the weekend victory over Chievo as Juve ran out 3-2 winners. His presence in Juve squad attracted many media and ticket sales smashed the records at Chiveo, hitting over one million euros. However, he did not make the scoresheet.
Juventus will on Saturday host Lazio in the second match of the season.
Ronaldo’s four children were all dressed in Juventus home kits as the Portuguese superstar and partner Georgina Rodriguez wore the away strip.
While Ronaldo’s son Cristiano Jnr. is used to the limelight, images of twins Eva and Matteo – and daughter Alana Martina – have been few and far between.
The 33-year-old’s arrival in Turin has been tipped to take Juve to the next level, particularly in Europe.
At Madrid, Ronaldo was all-time top goalscorer with 451 goals, of which 311 came in La Liga.
At Juventus, he is looking to add to the league and European titles he won with both Manchester United and Real Madrid.
The five-time Ballon d’Or winner scored in his two warm-up friendlies for Juventus but did not travel with the team to the United States.
